For over 55 years, Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union has been here, providing our members with quality products and services. We believe people are worth more than money, and we live that motto every day.

We are a financial cooperative. MSGCU serves education and government employees, students and retirees, and family members of these groups in primarily Macomb, Oakland, Genesee, Lapeer, Livingston, St. Clair, Wayne, and Washtenaw Counties. Since 1954, our membership has grown to nearly 63,000 strong.

MSGCU is a not-for-profit financial institution that returns revenue to its members by providing lower loan rates and higher savings rates. Because we are not profit-driven, MSGCU can offer better rates to our members, along with a full range of financial services.
